This property is an 18 minute walk from the beach. Located less than 10 minutes' walk from Oban's famous McCaig's Tower The Ranald Hotel is set in the heart of Oban town center and just off the main esplanade. Free Wi-Fi an en-suite shower room and a 43 inch Smart TV are featured in each room at The Ranald as well as our tea and coffee making facilities. Freshly brewed coffee warm Scottish pancakes Our Ranald Bloomer with Avocado Bacon and Egg are served at breakfast as well as many other favorites. Scenic wildlife cruises can be taken from opposite the Oban War & Peace Museum which is a 5-minute drive away. Diving fishing and kayaking can also be enjoyed in the local area and Dunollie House and Castle are just 1.3 miles away. This is our guests' favorite part of Oban according to independent reviews. Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 8.8 for a two-person trip. The Ranald Hotel has been welcoming Booking.com guests since 24 Jul 2012.

Good

Liked: clean room, nice staff.
Disliked: no parking facilities £1.20 per hour to park outside hotel. Breakfast was limited, no full English/ Scottish on menu.

Great comfortable boutique hotel ......

Liked: Lovely boutique hotel, well priced. Spotlessly clean. Very efficient and helpful staff. Good location, just a street back from the seafront. Nice breakfast ... not huge but perfect serving. Lovely personal service.
Disliked: No private parking ... we got parked outside on street for 2 days but paid 2.60 per 2 hours between 9am and 6pm. There are probably other alternatives, we were happy to pay and have car nearby.
