Liked: Room was nice and big, had large comfortable bed with a great shower. We ate in the tapas restaurant downstairs, the food was also very good. The staff were really friendly and helpful too.

A warm Northern welcome

Liked: Home from home. Always a warm Northern welcome with delicious food, great service, and a great night's sleep. At the foot of the Pennines with countryside nearby.
Disliked: There are quite a few steps to get to the rooms, so you need to be agile enough to navigate them.

Liked: Beautiful and characterful room. Fantastic breakfast, especially the full English which had the best black pudding ever. The staff made our stay an absolute pleasure.
