Liked: Location was good. Ample parking. Room was clean.
Disliked: No hot water or heating in the room on arrival. Hot water was rectified once staff informed. But heating wasn’t. There is a faulty thermostatic radiator valve in the room. There was nobody around in the morning to report the heating fault or hand the room key back to.

Overall we enjoyed our stay...

Liked: Excellent food, (homemade steak pie is fabulous!) staff are great and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was clean and comfortable, the shower was okay but controls were a bit awkward. Would still recommend for an overnight stay.
Disliked: A busy Friday evening, we found it too noisy in the dining area. Difficult to have a conversation. Maybe some more soft furnishings to absorb sound would make it better.

Liked: Really warm welcome from everyone. We felt very spoiled. Room was bright warm and comfortable. Ensuite shower spacious and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was delicious and great value for money. Would highly recommend.
Disliked: Nothing.
