A very comfortable stay at...
Liked: The property is an iconic and historic property with a Tudor facade dating back to the mid 1500s I believe. The bedroom in the hotel was of a good size with a good en suite inc jacuzzi/ bath. The bar area and restaurant were all wood panelled and exuded a great atmosphere. I can imagine log fires in the winter creating a great ambience. The food in the evening was pub / grub style but none the worse for that , I had an excellent rump steak @£16-95 so very competitive pricing as well. I would make the decision stay again in a flash . The room rate of £90 inc breakfast was excellent value.
Disliked: The only minor downside was that breakfast was continental only .
