Liked: The staff were so good. Nothing was to much trouble
Disliked: Could have done with a little updating ie: bathroom fittings were falling apart and windows in a bad state of repair. Breakfast was just adequate.

Exceptional

Good, clean hotel with nice...

Liked: The hotel was clean and well presented with very polite staff. The outside area was very pretty and my girls enjoyed playing in the little playground. Food was good and overall the hotel was what we needed for our overnight stay.
Disliked: My only complaint was the single bed I slept in which was extremely springy, creaky and uncomfortable. Our room was also too hot as the towel radiator didn’t go off so I had a terrible nights sleep. We stayed in the garden chalets, potentially the main hotel beds might be better quality.

Liked: I loved the building with all its great old world feel , there is a very nice bar and garden, room 10 is a lovely comfortable and spacious room

Liked: I loved the old fashioned style of the hotel and the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant in the evening was good and the bar was lovely with some very good local ales. Our room was beautifully clean and nice and spacious.
Disliked: The only downside was I didn't enjoy the continental breakfast .
