Very good

Liked: The beds were very comfortable and the room clean. Staff were very friendly. Thank you for essential fan. Location great
Disliked: Stairs too much. Room to small for 3 adults. Everything is clean, but the bathroom smelt unfresh. This is nothing to do with the hotel but if you take your car parking is 35 pounds per day over the weekend

Functional, no-frills hotel in good...

Liked: The room was pretty basic but clean and functional. The wifi is fairly poor and there's a loud pump when you run a tap for any length of time or flush the loo. The location is good.
Disliked: The wifi could have been better and it's a hotel that feels like it belongs to the seaside boarding culture of the 1980s. I quite like that, but many don't.

Great location Not so great...

Liked: Staff were friendly and view and distance to beach is amazing. Bedding was clean and lots of Tea and coffee provided.
Disliked: Walls had stains that looked like blood and the noise from bathroom when flushing and showing was very loud especially in the night.

Very good

Liked: Location was amazing, close to the beach and city centre. Train station is around 10-15 minutes away. Bus stops are close. The hotel itself was i believe doing some renovations while my friend and i stayed there. They provided us with a fan in the room which was very nice as we were on the top floor during heatwave and it was quite hot in the room. The room, while small, had everything we needed. There was kettle in the room and teas/coffees provided. There's A LOT OF STAIRS (especially if your room is on the top floor). When we thought we reached the top, nope still more stairs
Disliked: The stair railing felt a bit flimsy at times. There was also no hair dryer in the room (but we also didn't ask the reception for one cause it was warm enough that our hair air-dried in the end)
