Located on the banks of the River Ouse The Queens Hotel is ideally located for the many shops restaurants and bars that the center of York has to offer. The Queens Hotel is within easy walking distance of York Train Station York Minster and the National Rail Museum. Rooms with disabled access are available on request. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with classical decor. All rooms have free Wi-Fi internet access private bathrooms with complimentary toiletries a refreshments trays and a TV. The Royal Brasserie is a relaxing place to dine serving breakfast and dinner to guests. It offers a range of modern and traditional dishes. The bar is open daily until midnight.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Queens Hotel. The room we had looked out over the river - it was spotless and the room was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable, which meant a good night's sleep was had. The breakfast the next day was delicious and well worth the additional cost. The staff in the hotel were all very friendly and keen to help. Only problem was the cost of the NCP Parking which cost us £18. We had booked hotel parking but due to flooding this option wasn't available. No criticism at all with the hotel.

Liked: Hotel stay.
Disliked: Car parking costs.

Mostly good stay in York.

Liked: Breakfast was average. Location was good.View from balcony.
Disliked: Room was in eaves. Bar prices very high.

Disliked: Rooms were very warm (fan didn’t do anything - just dropped to blowing on the floor) Had 2 rooms booked - put us on different floors Needs updating
