We really enjoyed our stay at the Queens Hotel. The room we had looked out over the river - it was spotless and the room was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable, which meant a good night's sleep was had. The breakfast the next day was delicious and well worth the additional cost. The staff in the hotel were all very friendly and keen to help. Only problem was the cost of the NCP Parking which cost us £18. We had booked hotel parking but due to flooding this option wasn't available. No criticism at all with the hotel.
Liked: Hotel stay.
Disliked: Car parking costs.

Disliked: wifi was fairly poor, only one plug socket in entire room besides tv socket which was being used, not ideal

Liked: The location was fantastic, right on the river. Parking under the hotel was convenient. The late check out worked for us.
Disliked: I knew that we booked a smoking room because it was the only option but got a strong smell when we first walked in the room.

Liked: very clean and local hotel, 5 minutes walk from almost everything, comfortable beds and most staff are friendly.
Disliked: house keeping are very loud very early, we were woken up 8/9am (I’m on holiday I shouldn’t have to be woken up early) to the sound of them making loud bangs, and slamming doors, on departure we saw one of them hoovering and hitting the bed. the general hoovering and movement noises weren’t the issue it was the bangs and doors that woke us so much. also keep windows closed, the bar next door plays loud music until around midnight and then when people leave they shouting all through the night.
