Non existent as they over...

Liked: Nothing. We booked a room - had confirmation- but on arrival we were told we had no room as it had been condemned and I should have been contacted. Clearly I wasn’t
Disliked: See above. The chap really didn’t even apologise. My name on his sheet was crossed off and someone else pencilled in. He made some weird excuse. I asked for an email detailing the error, he said head office would send. Quelle surprise - I have not received an email.

Great stay at The Queens...

Liked: Friendly welcoming staff, got shown to my room and the bar downstairs was a nice place for a drink. It is in an excellent location within walking distance of the main attractions in the town such as the RSC Theatre and the shops. the parking was nearby too. Room had everything I needed, tea making facilities, towels etc and there was a good hot shower.
Disliked: There was a little bit of noise early morning and evening from the empties being put out from the pub which is only to be expected tbh. I’d taken earplugs anyway and an eye mask to block out the light which server me well as I slept in. The check out was 10am and I’m used to a bit later so had to rush around a bit.

Disappointed for the location and...

Disliked: No food available in the eveningNo mirror to do hair with hairdryer or to put make up on in the room, had to use bathroom mirror for make up and guess with hair when drying!!!Kettle on the floor, not hygienic, need longer extension cable so it reaches unitBurnt iron marks on the carpetNo glasses for waterLight outside window kept us awake for a while Mould inside shower, on the tiles and on ceiling Not able to lock door from inside - had a yale lock but button wouldn't slide up to lock it at night.Rear entrance to the car park very uninviting and dirty

Great location, helpful staff, but...

Liked: The staff were really helpful and the location was amazing.
Disliked: The room was quite dusty and the kettle poured really badly, meaning that it was hard to avoid spilling the boiling water on yourself! Most importantly, it was really noisy in the morning on a bank holiday. There was loading noise from 6am and bottles being emptied from around 7:30. Not the most restful! It was also noisy late in the evening thanks to people watching the football.
