This 17th-century Elizabethan inn has a peaceful location in the Troutbeck Valley with weaving footpaths that link the nearby ancient hamlets. It offers à la carte cuisine and is 1.5 miles from the former home of Beatrix Potter. Rooms at The Queen's Head Hotel have traditional furnishings with a contemporary twist. Great for a peaceful, short...

Liked: Peaceful and attractive location. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast and pub restaurant meals.
Disliked: Room was on the small side without a view, but with other hotel guests looking into the window as they came and went.

Perfect 👌

Liked: Lovely accommodation and food. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. This was our first overnight stay with our little dog and it was clear they all love dogs . We will definitely return 😊
