Liked: Breakfast was very good. We liked the garden are you wouldn’t think it was so near the station

Liked: Good could do with a slight bit of decorating but nice hotel and friendly staff and we enjoyed it
Disliked: Lift is very small and could do with a bit of redecoration

All very good, apart from...

Liked: Location was good. Room had aircon (paid extra for this) which was a lifesaver. Food was good but expensive.Parking right next to hotel* see below.
Disliked: *The parking was a pain. Very confusing about rates. Asked at hotel reception (behind two other customers with same issues) and was told "the parking is not connected to the hotel and is run by another company". I already knew this and the young man on reception appeared as confused about the payments, as we were?!!! I FEEL THAT THE RECEPTION STAFF NEED SOME TRAINING ON WHAT TO TELL CUSTOMERS ABOUT HOW THE CAR PARK IS RUN AND WHAT THE COSTS ARE, rather that telling customers that the car park doesn't belong to the hotel?!!! Numerous customers told us they had received parking fines!!

Liked: The room was excellent. It was very clean. The staff were helpful. The breakfast was great, especially the coffee and the selection of fruit.
Disliked: At breakfast, it would have been helpful if a plant milk had been available among the self-serve choices instead of having to ask for it (veganism and people avoiding dairy are so common nowadays!)
