A perfect getaway for a...

Liked: Friendly host, super yummy breakfast and a clean and comfy room. It was a perfect overnight retreat. I also really liked the location which was in walking distance to restaurants and a lovely park. Lastly, easy parking in front of the house.
Disliked: I liked everything.

Stay in an Historic Victorian

Liked: The owner is a lovely woman who went out of her way to welcome us and settle us in after a long drive on a rainy day. We weren't able to have breakfast on two of the mornings because of schedules, but she brought a tray up to our suite so we could eat at our leisure, which we really appreciated. We were in the Maid's Quarters, which has a full kitchen, and we were able to buy groceries and prepare food to bring to a graduation party, which was really helpful. The sun porch is lovely, and overlooks an overflowing garden - great location to unwind at the end of the day or enjoy a morning coffee.
Disliked: The bed was small and uncomfortable - the futon on the porch was much more comfortable. It was also quite stuffy and the windows in the bedroom didn't open. The Victorian decor was NOT a selling point for us.

Liked: it's a historic house full of stories and we were received by the owner that was lovely and had a great time. Breakfast was delicious.
Disliked: As it's an old house we had some small issues with our room, nothing too serious, but avoidable, like the AC drain liking in the room.
