Absolutely Wonderful

Liked: Our room and the grounds were beautiful. We loved our view of the pond and golf course, and the putting course throughout the property was a nice touch. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and I appreciated that they contacted us a day ahead to make sure any additional needs were met (I'm pregnant and needed extra pillows, which were in the room when we arrived). Overall, we had a lovely experience and will be returning in the future!

Disliked: I recently stayed at this resort and was extremely disappointed with the condition of my room. At around 3 a.m., I was startled awake by something crawling on my face. At first, I thought I was dreaming, but unfortunately, it was very real—a spider.When I reported this incident to the front desk, the staff member simply apologized and explained that the pest control spraying cycle had ended and would need to be repeated. I found this response to be both unprofessional and lacking in responsibility.Later, when I reached out via text, the staff apologized again and offered an upgrade for a future stay. While this gesture was appreciated, it does not make up for the sleepless night we endured, and I am not inclined to risk another vacation being ruined.I expected much higher standards of cleanliness and customer service from a resort of this caliber. I sincerely hope management addresses these issues so that future guests do not have a similar experience. Until improvements are made to pest control and staff training, I cannot recommend staying here.
