Liked: Lovely old Inn, fabulously decorated rooms, very clean.Fantastic food. Couldn't fault anything.

Liked: What a real gem, we were travelling through the Cumbria this past week and we're so trilled we had pre booked this amazing treat.Great room, fabulous restaurant and a really nice little pub where locals meet of an evening, their faithful dogs sitting below them at the counter.Maria is just amazing so perfect as a front of house ambassador.We loved every minute and will deff be back. Guys make a point of going out of your way to experience such a gem.
Disliked: Nothing, everything was just perfect thank you all at the Punch Bowl

Cozy Country Stay

Liked: Lovely location and such a cozy feel. Such a beautiful building and really enjoyed our stay. Restaurant was so nice and comfy
Disliked: Was very warm weather so room was bit toasty at night, not a complaint as rest of visit was amazing

Deserves all its accolades

Liked: Lovely old inn run by wonderfully accommodating staff who in an unfussy way want to be sure you have a lovely stay. And we did! Food lovely too.
Disliked: Nothing to complain about. We stayed during the heatwave and it was hot in the night but I’m not sure many places in the UK are very equipped to deal with this yet!

Liked: Very good all round..A very nice greeting on arrival.

Not as good as expected

Liked: A quiet location with nice restaurant.
Disliked: Room was above the restaurant and was noisy from the music and tables being moved. Bed was a little too soft. A condescending staff member ruined what was otherwise good service from all other team members.
