Never again

Liked: We have stayed in the upstairs suite with the kitchen and balcony on three previous occasions. That suite is beautiful . Due to a short notice booking this time we were shown to a downstairs room which was very substandard. We were shocked at the great difference between upstairs and downstairs.
Disliked: The downstairs room was tiny and cramped. The shower recess could do with a deep clean to remove the mould. One wonky lamp on one bedside table and nothing on the other. No way of communicating with the reception desk and nobody there when we went to make inquiries. We have enjoyed past stays at The Provincial but after this stay we will not be returning.

Very good, comfortable and will...

Liked: Lovely decor, nice sheets and comfortable beds. Bathroom was great. Perfect location. Would definitely stay again.
Disliked: Cleaning of skirting boards.

Liked: Lola suite was very spacious, clean, and quiet. Bed was comfortable. Spa bath was more for one than two but nice.
Disliked: Water pressure and temperature of the shower was pretty awful, we spoke to reception staff when we checked out so they could get someone to inspect that as it was pretty bad for a suite that was on the more expensive side. Extra glazing on windows is good for quiet night but not good if you need fresh air, one window only able to be opened in the whole suite.We knew the restaurant is still unlicensed, so we had made alternative plans for dinner, but if you were unaware of this and wanted to dine in house, it would be disappointing.

Liked: The location, decor and food at the restaurant are excellent.
Disliked: A bit of confusion about the current licensing arrangements at the restaurant.
