Disliked: Our room was not made up twice in a row despite requests after the first night that the room be made up early. They told us we should have filled out a form to ask for early service but this is 1) something we were not told about in advance and 2) there was no form in our room and no information indicating it was required.

Superb

Liked: We were very satisfied with the location of the hotel. We really liked the cleanliness and spaciousness of the hotel room. The beds were extremely comfortable.
Disliked: There is nothing to complain about.

Liked: Bed was super comfortable, the hotel is in a great location for exploring Halifax

Fantastic hotel right in middle...

Liked: Great location right in middle of city, two blocks from citadel, three from the Harbourside. The suite was great, and had a living room, bedroom, and a bathroom. The bathroom had shower and a jet bath. Very comfortable stay.
Disliked: The view from window was mediocre. A little confusion about breakfast service, and tipping the waiting staff. Nothing else to complain about really.

Great hotel and location but...

Liked: The hotel is great, nothing about the hotel as such. The common areas are extremely nice and comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better, that’s a win.
Disliked: What the hotel calls the “De Luxe” room. If staying in an hotel room means more to you than only a place to sleep, if it is part of the journey and that you are always taking a long time for finding the nicest rooms to book, if staying abroad must be in a place that has to be at least as nice as your own home if not nicer, then you risk being very disappointed by the room although you have chosen the Prince George Hotel “De Luxe”, because there is nothing luxury in that room, and it should be labeled as a “Standard” room. Not renovated since I do not know when, no toiletries, no wardrobe, probably one of the cheapest model of Keurig coffee machine that takes forever before you can have your first sip of coffee, even a very visible bump almost a hole in the wall outside the toilet. In a nutshell, a very standard room labeled and offered as a “De Luxe”. On our 50th wedding anniversary Road Trip, for which we had very carefully selected nothing but the best places to stay, this has been the most disappointing hotel room.
