1 night stay

Liked: The staff were friendly.
Disliked: No air con, noisy fan as a replacement that wasn't great, double bed felt very small, room was tiny. Wouldn't stay again, but it served a purpose for 1 night. Location was fine for what we needed. Lift was out of order.

Royal Albert hall stay

Liked: The room was lovely, cosy and clean. Bed was snug and really comfy. Shower was strong enough pressure for me to wash my very thick hair! No outside noise or noise from neighbouring rooms. Curtains were good blackout type. The bus stop was only a two minute walk. Twenty minute walk to the royal Albert hall.
Disliked: I found a single, long black hair in the bath. But I appreciate this can easily happen, it was otherwise really clean. Bed was lovely but one side was pushed against the wall, with no socket point. The aircon wasn't working, but staff had provided a tower fan which I suspect was more effective anyway. I'd have liked nets or blinds beyond the curtains, it was a choice between light or privacy! Lift wasn't working, however it was the hottest day of the year and lots of systems all over the country were breaking down.. no breakfast option, but good selection of teas and coffees in reception, and 10% off breakfast at a local cafe.

Really disappointing stay, filthy and...

Liked: The location of the property was close to a tube stop which was ideal. They let us check in an hour early too and checkout was 12.
Disliked: - The lift was not working and from looking at past reviews it has been broken for a while and which we were on the 3rd floor up on the hottest weekend of the year. - The aircon didn’t work and as soon as you opened a window flies were all over the room.- The room was grimey it had pee all over the back of the toilet and hairs everywhere.- booking.com advertised as 4 star but was clearly a 1
