Liked: clean tidy ideal location excellent value for money staff was extremely friendly and very helpful stayed few times will defo stay again.
Disliked: lift a bit small and if door isnt closed your left waiting that only thing

Liked: Location that's only good thing about it
Disliked: When we arrived, we waited in reception for 15 minutes before anyone arrived, pressing the bell a few times so they knew we were there. I also checked the bar, no staff but people waiting to be served. When we finally got to our room, very basic which was fine for the price. The smell in the room was disgusting, we opened the windows and left. When we returned a few hours later the smell was still bad. It wasn't until my husband sat on the fabric seat the smell got worse we put the chair out the room and the smell disappeared. I had went to go for a shower and there was no handle to turn the shower on. I went down stairs and was told I had to wait until morning to report it.1 of the cushions in the room had something all over it. I found half a false nail on the carpet and a fake eye lash was on the bedding.I went back down in the morning to report the shower and was told that the handle was on order for the shower and just had to push the wee bar down. It worked but very poor shower pressure plus no option to change the temperature. I also asked for another seat for the room and said we had put the other out due to smell, I was told to take 1 of the outdoor garden chairs from the front door.On the 2nd morning, my husband cut his arm on the shower from a broken soap holder. When we went downstairs again, no staff member to be seen.On the 3rd night, there was no entertainment on, we asked if we could have some background music, and he put it on 1 song played, and then it stopped. The kids went to play air hockey. The puck got stuck when we said about it, we were told again that we need to speak to staff in the morning to see about getting it fixed. While sitting in the bar on the Sunday night no entertainment on. The staff members started cleaning around us. This was about 9pm. We felt like he wanted us gone. I went up to the room with the kids while my husband finished his drink, and he asked him to go sit outside so he could clean up.

Liked: The food was top quality!!! Every meal was fantastic and the staff couldn’t have done enough for you. Phil the chef and his waiter team are a real credit to the hotel. The hotel is very very fortunate to have such a good cook. Real wholesome, home cooked meals, just delicious and I couldn’t wait until the next night to eat again. Disliked: The rooms could have been a bit cleaner and the smell of people smoking in the rooms when it clearly states no smoking. The young girls who were in charge of the rooms were very pleasant and very obliging. Manners go along way so keep up the good attitude girls.

Disliked: Cracked tiles in bathroom, kettle was already half full of water bathroom smelt moldy
