Never again…….

Liked: When you walk in it is very well presented & spacious but never judge a book by its cover
Disliked: Firstly the lack of staff, every time you went to reception they had a queue. The cleaning of the rooms was a disgrace, their idea of cleaning was changing the towels in the room, I stripped the bed after 3 nights there, they took the bedding but didn’t even make the bed, we came back after a long day & had to ask the receptionist for clean bedding & we had to make our own bed.The breakfast was disgusting for the price of 11 euros per person. The salad was brown & dry, the hot breakfast was cold, the hash browns were cold & soggy certainly not worth the money. We decided to have a drink at the bar one night & a game of pool. They had only 1 pump out of 4 working for a beer & the glasses were chipped, the pool table cost 5 euros per person for an hour with a 20 euro deposit & it was wonky. There was nothing on booking.com to say this was a hotel hosting school parties who run up & down the corridors all night or I certainly would never had booked

Liked: Brilliant location to the train station and a nice walk into the city.The staff were so helpful and accommodating.The bar area and facilities were brilliant and the rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable.
Disliked: Nothing at all ..

Review for A&O Hotel Brussels...

Liked: The location of the hotel is excellent — within walking distance to the city center and very close to the FlixBus stop. There's also a police station right next to the building, which adds a sense of safety. The hotel’s garden area is truly impressive and provides a pleasant space to relax.In terms of cleanliness, the hotel generally maintains good standards. However, the room amenities are quite basic. Don’t expect standard hotel features such as a mini fridge or a kettle.Overall, the hotel is suitable for short stays with a great location, but there’s room for improvement in terms of room facilities and guest convenience policies.
Disliked: The breakfast is average and sufficient, but nothing exceptional. One notable inconvenience is that both the check-out time and breakfast end at 10:00 AM, which is quite early compared to many hotels where the standard check-out time is noon. This overlap creates unnecessary stress for guests on the day of departure.

Disliked: Beds could be better, was a bit hard.

A & O Brussels Center...

Liked: The proximity to the train and bus station. As well as restaurants nearby.
Disliked: We had 6 six rooms for 13 family members and some had no air conditioning.

Very relaxing with cheerful friendly...

Liked: Very clean. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Barman was very helpful and charming!!
Disliked: We had arrived from the airport and were tired and hungry but there was no food available . Yes, there were snacks on the shelves but a few sandwiches would have been welcomed!

Whether it was help with directions, local recommendations, or simply a friendly smile at the reception, their hospitality made a real difference.The room was clean, well-organized, and comfortable, offering everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The common areas were equally well-maintained, and the atmosphere in the hotel was relaxed and welcoming — perfect for travelers of all kinds.Its location in the center of Brussels was also a major plus, giving us easy access to public transport, shops, restaurants, and major attractions.Overall, our experience at a&o Brussels Centre was excellent in every way. We felt cared for and comfortable, and we will definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Brussels.
