In the heart of the National Forest The Post House is a 30-minute drive from historic Leicester. A 4-star family-run guest house it has a pretty garden and individually styled rooms with free Wi-Fi. Elegant rooms all have quality Egyption bed linen and each feature a TV and free tea/coffee with ironing facilities also available. All rooms have either an in-room or external private bathroom with a hairdryer robes and slippers. Made using local produce both freshly cooked full English and healthy breakfast options are served in the dining room which features exposed beams and an open fireplace. Special diets can be catered for with notice. With free on-site parking the Post House is located in Ibstock just a 25-minute drive from East Midlands Airport. The M42 motorway is a 10-minute drive and Birmingham NEC can be reached in a 40-minute drive.

Fabulous as always

Liked: Fabulous as always, Susan looked after us and we had a wonderful comfortable stay. Always enjoy our annual visit to the Post House. Then a pleasant country drive through to the NEC in the morning. We ate at one one of the recommended pubs, The Greyhound, in the evening which I would recommend to others. Highly recommend staying at the Post House if you're visiting the area.
Disliked: Nothing we loved our stay.

Welcoming host and best B...

Liked: Room and bathroom small but clean and comfy. Good tea/coffee making facilities provided as well as biscuits, bottled water and even a bar of chocolate. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. Loads of cereals etc available, juices and a great pot of freshly made coffee.
Disliked: Nothing.

Perfect!

Liked: Extremely clean and very comfortable. Great selection on breakfast menu. Good that I could have used the dining room for a takeaway meal in the evening.
Disliked: Nothing could have been any better.
