Great stay. Did exactly what...

Liked: Superb location for leas cliff hall
Disliked: Was concerned about noise from bar but actually slept very well. Shower enclosure was a tad tight but that maybe my size .

Throw out the metal bed...

Liked: Location was seaside, had a great bar downstairs that has live music and you got discount at the bar
Disliked: The bed had a metal frame that clanged and squeeked all night. It was impossible to sleep on. The frame needs throwing back to the 1980s!! Threre was damage to the door frame and staying on the top floor wortied me in terms of fire safety. We had room 9 on 3rd floor

Perfect night

Liked: I’ve stayed with my two small dogs for one night before the journey through Eurotunel next morning. Dogs cost £10 per night for both. Very convenient and nice location, easy to check in and check out. Quiet. I was able to find a free car parking space 6pm-8am down on the street.
Disliked: Nothing.

Comfortable and value for money

Liked: The bed was comfortable. Plenty of tea/coffee facilities and the bottled water was a nice touch. Value for money and happy to accommodate our late arrival. We were shown to our room and our bags carried for us which was a real treat. It is above a bar but you didn't notice any noise.
Disliked: It was a little creaky when others were walking/moving around but it's an old building so to be expected.

Clean, value for money, staff...

Liked: Close to where we were going
Disliked: A bit tired and too many stairs

You get what you pay...

Liked: Good location , comfy bed
Disliked: Even though we booked a budget room , furniture was dated and shower tray had mould in it ,we had a top floor room so stairs were a nightmare.

Andy Fri, 22 August 2025

Very poor

Liked: 10 mins from the eurotunnel.
Disliked: Unfortunately, there was no parking available near the hotel. We arrived at 9 p.m. and the hotel was located above a pub, so we could hear dance music until the early hours of the morning. The beds were not very comfortable, and the floor of the room had many stains, which made the room feel a bit unpleasant.
