Great guest house.

Liked: Good continental breakfast options. Free snacks and drinks available all day. Great location.
Disliked: Our bedroom adjacent to the garden so people could look into our room.

Wonderful stay in the heart...

Liked: The Poppy feels like a home away from home. Super cute and comfortable boutique hotel in Georgetown. Great neighborhood, helpful staff and a well designed communal space for breakfast and gathering with guests. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Nice stay at Poppy Georgetown

Liked: Location is great. Breakfast is good. Staff is friendly. Room was nice, comfy bed and linens. Across the street is a convenience store. The outdoor patio area was enjoyable to sit and relax.
Disliked: Room turnover/clean, only once in 4 night stay.

Good location, but cost is...

Liked: Good location.
Disliked: On the second floor. Could hear the person above us every time they got out of bed to use the bathroom overnight. Very creeky floors. Given the distribution in sleep I wouldn’t stay again.
