Breakaway

Liked: Beautiful old hotel in a lovely area welcomed by lovely staff on arrival. Our room was updated to a king size at no extra charge the room was just perfect for our stay. We decided pay extra for the breakfast we had plenty of choices including a full English. We had lovely staff in the breakfast area friendly & chatty every morning. We would definitely stay again.

Horrendous

Liked: I didn't like anything about this hotel.
Disliked: The overall experience was awful, the hotel had a bad smell everywhere. The room was in need of renovation and the bedding wasn't ironed. The shower took 15 minutes to get hot water.Breakfast was disgraceful, no choice of continental food and the cooked options came out cold and undercooked. I paid for breakfast and could only eat toast, which I did. It was an overall extremely poor experience.
