Very nice and great value...

Liked: Food was very good and great value for money
Disliked: Room was little noise as was facing the raos outside

Perfect for a short stay

Liked: Nice surroundings, comfortable bed, good food, excellent service
Disliked: Bathroom could be better. Toilet flushed not very well, long wait for warm water, mirror light not working in room 10

This was the 3rd time...

Liked: Breakfast was good. Love the location. Staff very friendly.
Disliked: No draught lager unlike last visit- only bottle lager and one type ran out.Advised on arrival restaurant was not available for 3 nights. No prior notice of this. We booked this hotel because we needed an evening meal.Toilet flush pusher was broken.Slipped when having a shower as no suction in bath Cleaners used our plastic drink bottles to keep the window open. On the Friday night, 3 meals from the menu were unavailable. We were then told the restaurant would be closed on the Saturday due to short staff.Was locked out after taking dog outside for last walk-was only 945 pm

Liked: Receptionist Ms Somerville greeted us warmly even though we arrived late at night. Same lady served us breakfast and was still pleasant and smiling

We enjoyed our short stay...

Liked: The food and service were very good and the staff were helpful and accommodating. We have stayed there several times before and have always enjoyed our visits. We once brought our daughter and granddaughter and they enjoyed it too.
Disliked: It’s a pity the spa has not been rebuilt following the fire a few years ago, I think it was an added attraction to the hotel.

Friendly staff and great meals.

Liked: Staff were very welcoming and helpful.Room was comfortable and clean.Breakfast and dinner were great and served by friendly staff.
Disliked: The exterior of the hotel and car park could do with a spruce-up. It was a pleasant surprise to step into reception and find the outside of the hotel did not reflect the inside.
