Disliked: Rooms were a little tired and in need of a spruce up but super view, clean and comfortable beds, large space and good facilities.

Disappointing this visit

Liked: Have stayed at The Point 4 times now, great location and some rooms have excellent views
Disliked: We stayed in a balcony room for the first time. It totally needs renovating. The carpets are miss matched and rippling. Lots of paint chips and marks on the walls and entry and toilet doors had parts coming off. It was so disappointing as we have enjoyed this hotel many times before. They say they have a shuttle service which we have utilised before to get to the ferry, but was advised they have "cut back" on this and only available for people with mobility issues.I mentioned tge state of the room to staff on checkout who deducted parking fees from my account. I would not recommend a balcony room even though a great size until they are renovated.
