Liked: The property was stately with marble floors and beautiful architecture, clean, and environmentally conscious. Enjoyed the way they retained a 1920s motif with modern comforts. (Also thought the lady at the front desk was so astute and charming.)

Liked: Quant and quiet hotel with comfy bed that is 5min walk to the River Walk. It even includes a kitchen. It was clean and free of air freshener sprays (which I am allergic to). There was no A/C BUT you could open the windows over the courtyard to get a nice breeze along with a whisper quiet ceiler fan. Even with the windows open it was super quiet. Be aware it is a walkup..no elevators. But not a big deal at all. I would highly recommend this hotel if in the Milwaukee area!!
Disliked: Nothing. It was great!

Decent for the price, but...
Liked: Very clean and old style.
Disliked: No AC in rooms, at least in May, spent most of the time with windows open and fan on high. Restaurant downstairs was extremely loud, so we woke up both mornings to crashing dishes.
