The award-winning 5-star hotel The Playford Mgallery by Sofitel is a boutique hotel in the heart of Adelaide on vibrant North Terrace. The hotel features a 24-hour fitness center with a heated pool and sauna. The Playford Restaurant and Lounge Bar are undergoing a major transformation and will remain closed until September 1st this year. In the meantime there is a brand new in-room dining menu available 24 hours a day. Located opposite the Adelaide Convention Center and Adelaide Casino The Playford is only a 10-minute walk to Adelaide Oval and the local shopping area of Rundle Mall is just 1476 feet away. The vibrant streets of the West End filled with bars and restaurants are only around the corner and the tram to the beachside suburb of Glenelg departs from outside the hotel. Each classically designed room features high ceilings work desks air conditioning a TV with cable channels and a marble private bathroom. Tea/coffee making facilities and a mini-bar are also available in the rooms. Some suites have a spa bath separate living area and small kitchenette. Being a city based hotel views from the rooms may be limited. Facilities include a 24-hour reception desk a business center valet parking facilities and a guest laundry. The tour desk can assist with day tours to the wine regions of the Barossa Valley or McLaren Vale as well as provide advice on things to see and do in town. The tram to Glenelg Beach departs from around the corner.

Liked: The staff were friendly, helpful and always happy to.help! The bed was comfy and room was beautiful and had everything we needed and the pool and spa was clean.
Disliked: The noise outside, but that wasn't anything anyone could control and we liked our window open.

Luxury accommodation in Adelaide

Liked: Staff were very professional and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.Breakfast banquet was wonderful, freshly squeezed juices, and great selection of breads, cereals , fresh fruit as well as eggs, and other accompaniments! 10 out 10, very internationally competitive on all fronts!
Disliked: Nothing, everything was perfect!
