The Pitlochry Hydro Hotel is set just outside the town of Pitlochry and offers fantastic views of the Perthshire Highlands. It features a spa an indoor pool and a restaurant. The hotel maintains its original Highland architecture combined with contemporary interiors. Each room has traditional décor with modern finishes. There is heating a TV and tea and coffee-making facilities. The waters surrounding the hydro are rich in hydrogen and are known for their healthy properties. Liked: The stay was great value for money! The spa & pool were fabulous.Dinner at the bar was comfortable after an enjoyable walk around the shopping centre.

Excellent service and good food

Liked: location was excellent and could walk into Pitlochry very easily through the garden pathway
Disliked: All fine. Decor could be refreshed in rooms and stair carpet worn in parts

Good location, hotel with lots...

Liked: Picturesque, had character and staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Being an older property bathroom required updating and room upstairs was noisy (underfoot).

Disliked: Didn't like the set menu as some of the things on it we didn't like and we paid for bb and dinner it never advertised a set menu would have liked the a la cart menu but we had to pay for it
