The Pinewood Hotel

Good

Disliked: Rooms do not have any air cooling and small windows with little ventilation resulting in rooms 30'-40' like a sauna. Whilst a fan is available this is all too hot to stay or sleep in without dehydration and sweating lots. The temperature makes rooms uncomfortable.Sorry if negative but nice people but this is the reality.

Liked: Size of the room was ok. It was a quiet place.
Disliked: Broken lift. No lid for loo. A plug of the bath was broken.

Liked: Breakfast staff were pleasant and really enjoyed the breakfast
Disliked: Worst view out of bedroom window ever! Put in a room with a only view was a unrepaired roof. Reception staff very interested in their phone and no eye contact even when checking out.

Good location for an overnight...

Liked: East parking. Location good.
Disliked: Some parts need a refresh.

Disliked: Room was very hot. Air con did very little if anything. Opened both windows but sadly found we seemed to be above where smokers gathered. Room needed a fan.

Liked: The room was better than expected bigger and spacious
Disliked: I think my only comment was the bathroom was also set out for disabled user and I am quite tall which meant I had to bend to use the washing facility and toilet facility but it was only whilst in the room.

Very nice hotel; comfortable and...

Liked: Everything was fine. On arrival, we were told that there was a 'function' that night ..... but they kindly allocated a family room in a separate block where we had a large multi-bed room and working air-conditioning - and it was quiet!
Disliked: We couldn't empty the bath after use because we couldn't activate the drainage plug. We let them know. The shower was fine. No problems. Perhaps more choice for those not having a cooked breakfast. Perhaps free access to hot coffee for breakfast.Perhaps a light bed quilt for warm nights.
