Disappointing!

Liked: The cottage exterior with the thatched roofs. The excellent manners of your staff.
Disliked: We are 68 years old and we were placed on the second floor. The room we were placed in had sloping walls to follow the roof line. Between us, my wife and I banged our heads a total of six times. My wife four times, myself twice. Very painful!Had we known at our age we would have to walk up and down extremely narrow stairs banged our heads six times, we would not have made reservations at The Pilgrim Inn.Dinner was disappointing. We asked for lamb and was told that there was one left. Upon going back to the kitchen, the server then told us that the last lamb had been sold. Really? At breakfast there were no pastries. Upon inquiring I was told that it would take a little while for the pastries to come out. It took 20 minutes. Also, I had to ask twice for my tea before it arrived at the table.

Perfect stay at a lovely...

Liked: Comfortable bed, huge bathroom, warm abiance in room, with many details to convey the message: 'we care about our guests'. Food is amazing, whatever you order. Upon arrival we were a bit afraid of having traffic on both sides of the building, but at night traffic disappears, we had no problem. Even our child slept undisturbed.
Disliked: nothing
