For an older hotel it was nice; be prepared for cramped quarters. Location was excellent.

Liked: The location.
Disliked: Rooms were too small for 4 people.

Leo was fantastic - getting us cabs and cars as we were on an insane schedule. Neat, clean and wish we could have stayed longer. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Disliked: The lobby smelled. The shower worked at first but then the walls were shaking because of the pipes. The bathroom is very dated and needs to be updated. I couldn’t finish showering. The bathtub had not been cleaned and was dirty before I stepped in for a shower.

Liked: Everything is amazing, and as described in the room details , cleaning every day and free coffee and tea every day . ALSO, THE TEAM ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL . The location is around 5 minutes walk from everywhere at the city centre .. Thank you very much!

Liked: Easy access to city centre and BART station.
Disliked: The $100 deposit on top of full payment was a surprise. It was not communicated beforehand. Also it was not refunded straightaway on checkout. The receptionist mentioned that it could be anytime fro 3-30days which was not appropriate.

Disliked: The hotel is located near a lot of homeless, so it's a bit dangerous to arrieve or walk at night. One night, there were people sleeping and listening to loud music on the street.

Liked: It’s old charm look, location and close proximity to a lot of eateries. The hotel is old but amenities included are very adequate.
Disliked: Curtains could really use some upgrade. The ones in our room shows its age and are torn beyond repair. The a/c system is very noisy and making a lot of sounds during our stay even at night. Seriously needs fixing or upgrade.
