Liked: Breakfasts and evening meal were very satisfactory. Food was good. Room 'Holt' and ensuite, light and spacious. All staff were friendly and helpful. Nice grounds and location.
Disliked: Decor and furnishing in room would benefit from some attention.

Liked: Good value rooms in nice hotel in great location. Breakfast portions a little mean. Evening dinner poor quality and size for the cost. make sure your aware of the service charge before ordering food and drinks.
Disliked: the restaurant wasn't up to its usual standard

A little gem on the...

Liked: Beautiful hotel in a wonderful setting near the coast. Very well decorated throughout with a lovely orangery where you can have drinks and food. All the staff were great and very friendly. Our bedroom was great with a lovely wide bed and well appointed bathroom. Food in the restaurant was good if a little pricey.
Disliked: Just thought some of the main dishes on the menu were a little expensive.

Liked: Room is very spacious and clean and very comfortable.Very peaceful location .Staff are so lovely and friendly from cleaning staff to reception to restaurant staff
Disliked: They used to do a set menu for dinner,three courses for £30 or £35 and the menu varied.Now it’s just the same menu and not a huge choice and pretty expensive.The food is really lovely though

Liked: Breakfast was lovely and the room had a lot of little touches that made the stay really memorable. I loved the quality of the bedlinen.
Disliked: The restaurants' menu was not exciting, we had dinner there and was nothing special.
