The Pfister Hotel

Overall, great stay. Only issue was upon check out. I had paid for the room in advance, yet received a bill for $250. It was my name and room, but nothing else matched. The front desk was not helpful and almost rude. It was their mistake and they cleared it up. Not a single, "I'm sorry". The word, sorry, goes a long way with me. Check your bill on the way out!

Liked: Everything else was great.
Disliked: Bad taste left with the final billing process.

Liked: Excellent staff, excellent location for Summerfest.
Disliked: Having to pay for Internet from the room.

The hotel is beautiful and...

Liked: We loved staying here, the Pfister is a beautiful hotel. The location was perfect for us. We enjoyed walking to a lot of the attractions such as the art museum and the lakefront. Our room was comfortable and clean. We also enjoyed the spectacular view!! The staff was so friendly and helpful in answering questions. We would absolutely stay here again.

Liked: It was clean (even the parking ramp), security seemed always available, decorative, pleasant and relaxing. The staff was great.
Disliked: The lounge area women’s room was humid, our room was nice but stained carpet. There was a delay to check-in (past 3 pm) which delayed our plans a bit. It was a busy festival weekend

Liked: Very nice place. parking on site. Clean. Beautiful lobby.
Disliked: We showed up at the time they said we could get our room (3:00pm) and we ended up waiting over an hour before they gave us a room (4:10pm). Room was a little expensive because of summerfest.
