Overall, great stay. Only issue was upon check out. I had paid for the room in advance, yet received a bill for $250. It was my name and room, but nothing else matched. The front desk was not helpful and almost rude. It was their mistake and they cleared it up. Not a single, "I'm sorry". The word, sorry, goes a long way with me. Check your bill on the way out!
Liked: Everything else was great.
Disliked: Bad taste left with the final billing process.

Liked: Beautiful artwork in common areas; helpful staff
Disliked: The toilet clogged up and almost overflowed. Did not realize that parking and taxes would be so expensive. My daughter got into snacks and opened some packages of candy before I realized how expensive they were.

Liked: The room was dusty the front desk doesn't listen to you and/or your needs very combative on trying to help you and/or finding out if they can I felt so out of place by the way I was treated as if I were unwanted in the establishment this was from the front desk.
Disliked: The person at the front desk could have listened to me instead of doing what they thought they should do with out even paying attention to what I was saying made my hole stay very uncomfortable. Pay attention is more acertus

Disliked: Called a few days before to ask the concierge about restaurants in walking distance first question I asked her was did she have a few minutes the answer was yes I asked her to email me the restaurants and she said she was busy and then gave me three restaurants over the phone which was not helpful

Liked: The property is beautiful with an amazing history. Love that is is family owned. Enjoyed having access to club lounge and staff in the lounge was terrific unlike other staff as outlined below. Mason Street Grill was a very good dining option. Steaks were excellent.
Disliked: The staff never followed through on any request including: to fix the broken safe in our room and to transfer from valet to self-park. From the first text to the Pfister Butler (who greeted me with a Welcome Text) to the front desk it was VERY disappointing. Also on Sunday the entire street in front of the hotel was taken up by large black SUV?s and a large rental truck so I had to park in the street dropping off to the valet (who seemed annoyed with me) one time and decided to park in the garage a second time paying the $6.00 rate for 30 minutes and finally switching over to self-park (which is $29 overnight vs. $33 valet so don?t be misled by the sign that says daily rate of $19). When we received our bill the $33 rate had not been adjusted so I had to call the front desk again to request something that should have already been changed.
