The Pfister Hotel

Overall, great stay. Only issue was upon check out. I had paid for the room in advance, yet received a bill for $250. It was my name and room, but nothing else matched. The front desk was not helpful and almost rude. It was their mistake and they cleared it up. Not a single, "I'm sorry". The word, sorry, goes a long way with me. Check your bill on the way out!

Liked: Everything else was great.
Disliked: Bad taste left with the final billing process.

Liked: Excellent staff, excellent location for Summerfest.
Disliked: Having to pay for Internet from the room.

Liked: Location good. Cafe style wirh table service. Attentive wait staff. Food delivered promptly.
Disliked: Breakfast portions were very small for the price. No style in the presentation, i.e. garnish or care to please the eye. The Benedict was excellent, eggs perfectly cooked, but small; hash browns looked/tasted rewarmed and texture leathery.

Liked: Location, comfortable and inviting lobby/bar area.
Disliked: There was a used glass (champagne from when I arrived) that was there the entire 3 days, bottled water was not replenished, tray of dirty dishes from someone’s room service that was left in hallway by elevator for 2 days.

Perfect get away every time!

Liked: Every time we stay at the Pfister it’s perfect.
Disliked: There was nothing not to like.
