Liked: The location was superb. The surroundings are beautiful. Staff very friendly. Clean hotel. The quality of the breakfast was great, but I’d have preferred breakfast in buffet form. Outstanding view over the river though.
Disliked: Breakfast in buffet form. When in a hotel I like to enjoy a full continental breakfast in buffet form so I can taste different things. Not only one plate

Overall a great place to stay, but the attempt to add a 'service charge' left a bad taste.

Liked: I had booked a standard double and was upgraded to a great deluxe room with balcony and river view etc.
Disliked: An extra 'service charge' was added to my bill at checkout, which I asked the reception staff to take off. (If this was in return for the upgrade, it should have been made clear on checkin). The bathroom towel radiator leaked during the night (room 312).
