Liked: Best location in Oban. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay great. The rooms were extremely comfortable and roomy. Air conditioning was a plus. Breakfast was delicious. There was a small buffet of cold, cuts, fruit, yogurt, and cereal and you order off a menu.
Disliked: No dedicated parking

Comfortable stay in the heart...

Liked: Comfy room right in the centre of Oban. Staff are friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: Room didn't have a mini bar which was a shame as we had a couple of things we would have liked to have kept in a fridge. Spa was nice but would have been perfect with a small pool/jacuzzi.

Sublime stay in a wonderful...

Liked: Room 106 was simply amazing.
Disliked: Nothing

Expected better for the money

Liked: Room was clean and comfortable. Excellent choice of continental and cooked breakfast.
Disliked: I had a couple of niggles regarding the somewhat small bathroom. The toilet pot was higher than normal and my legs dangled when I sat on it. I kept forgetting the lid wasn’t soft-close so it would make a loud clatter as a result. Wasn’t impressed with the situation of our room as the window faced another building. I was uncertain if it was a commercial or residential property but I felt it reduced the degree of privacy I had expected. Would have liked a room with a sea view but maybe we would’ve had to pay a lot more than £800 for 3 nights to get one.
