Liked: It was a beautiful property with a lot of history the location was excellent and it was a wonderful experience.
Disliked: The history and the people running the hotel were absolutely wonderful.

Wonderful stay

Liked: The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was lovely and comfortable. There were various characterful communal lounge and snug areas to enjoy with books, games and even a piano to enjoy. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: Plastic teabags (they are local and posh but need to be biodegradable). The view over the back wasn’t so great from room 7 (which can’t be changed); breakfast was nice but for the price it could do with more options - and more than one juice option and needing to ask for it to be topped up. They’re very minor things but for the standard of the hotel, would make it a 10
