The People - Paris Bercy

Great experience

Liked: Staff was very helpful. Being able to leave things in locker before check in and after check out was very convenient. It is close to metro stations from line 6 which take to straight to main things to see in the city. Beds are comfortable, with place to store things safely and a couple of useful shelves with power outlet to charge devices. Usable kitchen and common area.

Liked: Zelle was an excellent host when I first arrived! She was sweet and bubbly and made me feel welcome right away! The rooms were just the right size. They had plenty of room to move around in and get ready or spread all your things out on the floor.
Disliked: The shower room was very tiny. I felt like I could barely turn around while getting ready to shower. It also would have been nice to have a second mirror in the main room. Also, we had a beautiful balcony but couldn’t use it which was disappointing. The roof closing early was also a bit disappointing. I would have loved to been able to just sit up there in the evenings.

Liked: By far the most well rounded hostel in Paris, away from the noise, clean, close to metro lines and the Bercy station.

Liked: The facilities are very good. Very friendly staff, good location. Definitely when I come back to Paris I will stay in the same hostel.
