Liked: Great! Lots of choice and decent portions at breakfast, and the evening meal was very pleasant too. Staff really polite and friendly.
Disliked: The weather wasn't too brilliant, but there's not a lot that they could do about that!

Liked: The first day was not as good as second day, bacon looked like it had been made hours earlier even though we were 1 of the first in as was black pudding. The rest was fine. The room was excellent though we found the toilet extremely hard to flush.
Disliked: Apart from first breakfast, nothing we didn't like.

A perfect coastal place to...

Liked: The hotel was very comfortable, the food was very good, and the staff was exceptional. The cooked breakfast was perfect. It was about quality and proportions rather than quantity as is often the only criteria. The dinners were imaginative and tasty and my allergies were dealt with without fuss or making me feel that there were items I could not have. They were simply adjusted. Often one does not get that at top rank restaurants. The bar and serving staff were among the best I've come across. They were polite, friendly and very efficient and really seemed to care that we were enjoying ourselves.

Liked: Attentive staff and amenities in the room (toiletries, coffee, tea etc)
Disliked: The shower enclosure didn't fully close, and the temperature and controls were problematic.The door to the bathroom did not lock.
