The Penn Stroud Stroudsburg - Poconos Ascend Hotel Collection

Penn Stroud is a great hotel in a perfect location. So many fun bars and restaurants on Main Street and the Sherman Theater is only steps away.

Liked: We were there celebrating our anniversary and seeing a show. The hotel left us a handwritten card and 2 delicious cupcakes in our room. It was so thoughtful.
Disliked: No disappointments. This is a great place to stay.

Liked: The facilities were very chic and cute. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant. Efficient in handling any little issues that occurred with constant smiles. Also incredibly courteous to visitors needs and knowledgeable about the area. Would definitely return without a second thought.

Liked: The room was comfortable and clean. The included toiletries were great. The woman working the front desk was especially helpful!
Disliked: Our first room did not have a functioning lock on the door. We had to ask for another room and were quickly given a replacement room. The noise outside on the street was quite loud.

Disliked: I didn’t like the continental breakfast. It could’ve had more options.And I wish I had a balcony

Liked: Bed was very comfortable! Sheets, pillows and room in general were very clean. Staff was very friendly. All was within walking distance.

Liked: Very good spot to stay, walking distance from main Street.
Disliked: Some stores that family oriented people would like to explore during the week that's on vacation will not be able to enjoy because some of those stores are only open Fri-Sun.
