Expensive but great value for...

Liked: Beds are so comfortable and the service was fantastic. Brilliant concierge.

Classy,,luxury and very expensive hotel,...

Liked: The room was impeccably clean. Well positioned hotel.
Disliked: The view was on an inner brick wall, but the biggest faux-pas at this rate for a luxury hotel is that there is no nespresso machine or similar. The peninsula is a 5* luxury hotel, but it’s certainly not luxurious to have to get up, clothe yourself before 7am to go down to the reception area to get yourself a cup of coffee or tea???Thereafter the Nespresso machine is removed. It’s become standard practice the world over (even in 3 and 4• hotels) to include a coffee-making machine -or even a kettle in hotel rooms. Many luxury hotels, be they classic in style or modern , include a complimentary bar, and nespresso coffee- BUT NOT at the Peninsula. Its high room price offers you nothing, but a hotel room. 🙄
