Hidden gem..

Liked: From check in to check out, this hotel AND the staff were FANTASTIC! It?s a very old NOLA historic with good bones, yet clean and fresh. Valet parking is reasonable. Rate for double queen beds, both FOUR POSTER, very good. Within walking distance of restaurants. The front desk was friendly, personable ( AM shift Kenya and night shift gal ( unfortunately didn?t get her name) were great. Will DEFINITELY stay again!
Disliked: No window.. I didn?t pay attention when booking on line that room was interior. Will rectify next visit..

Perfect location

Liked: Location was ideal, not in the heart of tourist area but close enough that we could walk to key attractions with senior citizens. No breakfast but next door is Ruby Slippers- very popular breakfast location. Room was clean, bed was comfy. fridge was useful. Not a large space but a lot of character and historic feel.
Disliked: No hot water pot and only K cups downstairs, bathroom was clean but smelled a bit moldy which I think was coming from the shower curtain. Staff were variable, some quite friendly and others almost indifferent.

Great hotel and friendly staff

Liked: The staff was very friendly and courteous, and patiently answered our questions from where to leave our vehicle to recommended places to eat and places to see.
Disliked: One staff member usually sits the front desk, and if they are engaged in hotel business, it can be a bit of a wait if you are checking in or out.
