Exceptional
Liked: We really enjoy staying here. Really delighted that breakfast was delivered to the rooms in take-away packaging, carefully following COVID precautions. But unlike many hotels who serve cereals and cold items only, the Peel Aldergate really go the extra mile with a lovely cooked breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. Strongly recommended.
Disliked: Nothing!

A very well-run hotel.
Liked: The Peel Aldergate go to a lot of trouble to provide a Covid-19 secure hot breakfast safely delivered to your room. This makes a great difference, and really sets you up for the day. Very helpful and friendly team.
Disliked: The price was a but higher than it has been in the past.

Passable
Liked: Comfortable room.
Disliked: There was no indication that Christophers (the restaurant part of the premises) was closed. I therefore had to go out to find an evening meal. The lack of the restaurant made this an expensive B&B.

Good
Liked: A well stocked bar, especially if you like a varied gin selection. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast and just a 2 minute walk away from a very good Indian restaurant.

Superb
Liked: The room was very comfortable and very well looked after and very quiet. The staff are helpful and polite. I had stayed in the hotel about 18 months previously and enjoyed my stay then so had no hesitation in rebooking when returning to the area. Another great thing about the hotel is its location, very close to everything in Tamworth and a short walk from the station and across the road from bus stops.
