Wonderful stay at The Pearl...

Disliked: Did not dislike anything, but if to improve the breakfast, include some cheese and ham.

Quiet, comfortable stay close to...

Liked: Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by a bellman who gathered our bags and a glass of wine from their daily happy hour. We went up to our clean, modern room on the 5th floor with two queen beds, perfect for our family of four. The bathroom had a deep tub and a decent-sized shower with a large sink and counter area. There was a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, and sink. There was a walk-in closet and plenty of room around the beds to walk and store luggage. The beds were comfortable, the room dark for sleep, and it was quiet! It is right in the heart of the Theater District and Times Square feels a lot closer on the weekend when it gets really crowded and it was quiet and peaceful here! There was daily breakfast which had some proteins (peanut butter, cream cheese, hard-boiled eggs, and yogurt), pastries, breads, cereals, and fruit. It was perfectly located to so many attractions and had nearby amenities like Food Emporium (which had an excellent fresh food section to grab any prepared meal, when you do not have time for a full meal out) and Da Marino's across the street which had to best Italian food and live music. We loved everything about The Pearl Hotel! It completely lived up to all the good reviews that we used to book this trip. My husband was apprehensive about coming to NYC since he does not like big cities and crowds and he loved it here and a big part of that was that we always had refuge at The Pearl Hotel from our long days and nights exploring NYC.
Disliked: Everything was spectacular, so if I had to pick something it was that the hard-boiled eggs were a little chalky or over-cooked, but we were glad they provided that protein option.

A lovely 4th of July...

Liked: The front desk staff was very pleasant. The continental breakfast was nice for early risers like me. The location was great as well.
Disliked: After making and receiving confirmation of a one-room reservation with two beds, I was informed at check-in that the hotel was overbooked. They were able to put us in two separate rooms with one bed. I didn't enjoy having to split the family up at the last minute. But we navigated this.

Very good

Liked: Spacey and well furnished rooms. Super friendly staff. The location is very central.
Disliked: The windows could be a bit better insulated, so if there is construction going on, you'll hear it. The breakfast buffet could be better,
