Liked: The location of The Patriot's motel was wonderful. You can walk to the best shopping and dining in San Clemente, and even get down to the beach in like 20 minutes if you want to. And for the price? You absolutely can't beat it in Southern California. Can't wait to stay here again!

Great value and comfortable stay

Liked: Very well kept property. The potted and hanging plants are beautiful. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Check-in was very easy. Location was close to everywhere we needed to go.
Disliked: Nothing.

Reminiscent of the budget hotels...

Liked: Our room was clean and the owner was polite.
Disliked: We paid over $200 for what was described as a "boutique" hotel. We were surprised that the room was not as nice as a budget motel. Some rooms may have been nicer but #1 was rather awkward. It felt like a converted garage or storage unit. The uncomfortable futon faced the microwave. The TV was tucked in a cubbyhole. The row of locked cupboards in the bathroom felt like they were letting us stay in the room as a favor, not a boutique hotel.

Wonderful little venue.

Disliked: Perfect place.

Liked: Kate was the kindest and most accommodating person. We got there a little earlier than expected and although the room wasn't ready, she checked us in and took the time to text and notify us when we could come back to the room. The room was comfortable, spacious, and beautiful.

Liked: Not much
Disliked: Most everything. Lady at front desk was rude and additional charges on my credit card after check out is UNACCEPTABLE!!!
