The Parsonage Hotel & Spa

Good hotel with good facilities.

Liked: Check in was simple, the room was clean and a good size.Spa and swimming pool were quite relaxing when you shut yourself off from the whirlpool noise.Dinner was good quality food along with very professional bar staff.Breakfast was excellent quality with a good selection.
Disliked: Bathroom had a whirlpool bath which can be unhygienic as the pipes hold dirty water. This is a generalisation not fact of this particular bath.Bathroom quite old fashioned and had expected a walk in shower as per the photos.Whirlpool in swimming area operates permanently so is quite noisy overall.Breakfast would be improved with a selection of cold buffet items.

Liked: The spa is lovely, nice and clean. The breakfast was very delicious and nicely cooked.
Disliked: The hotel is quite dated. Small little things let it down. Signage is poor. We could not close the bathroom door. There was an issue with the shower which they resolved quickly.

Liked: Peaceful and quiet, nice location, nice hotel,leisure facilities, been there 4 or 5 times, easy access to designer outlet and york and central to other holiday destinations
Disliked: Standard room was fine but could,nt get upgrade

Relaxing and enjoyable. The spa...

Liked: Location and spa were lovely.
Disliked: External rooms from the main hotel were old fashioned.Food was unavailable from the pub located on site or the hotel in the evening. No availability for treatments in the spa.

Good value night stop

Liked: Large ground floor room, good facilities, good selection at breakfast, great meal at The Fat Abbott. Could have been warned about the wedding disco that night and offered a quiet room, which went on until midnight! ☹️ Other than that a comfortable stay.
