Liked: Room was comformatable but warm, breakfast was great and location worked perfect for us. Staff are very friendly.

Perfect

Liked: Breakfast was plentiful and hot and excellent selection. Spa was clean and tidy in all areas and, plenty of sunbeds and chairs, lovely outside area if weather permits. Our room was lovely, with comfy beds and plenty of room, clean and roomy shower and bath. Altogether a lovely place and very enjoyable stay, will be certain be recommending to friends and will be returning ourselves.
Disliked: Nothing to complain about. Everything and everybody was just great.

Superb

Liked: Very good facilities, we had 2 rooms for 3 of us. Food, very good both breakfast and dinner. Excellent grounds/garden. Every staff member very helpful.
Disliked: Some areas need updating.

Very good

Idilic, restful and in easy...

Liked: The location in relation to accessing York is brilliant, the setting of the hotel itself is idilic.
Disliked: Constructive criticism only! We were in room 55, there are no hooks to hang anything on, either in the bathroom or bedroom doors! The TV could stream (as advertised) Netflix etc. other than these minor things we couldn’t find fault!
