The Parsonage Hotel & Spa is a Four Star Hotel set in 6 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland and offers free WiFi and free parking. York's city center is only 15 minutes' drive away. Built in the early 1840s the building maintains many of its original features. The Fat Abbot restaurant offers classic pub-style food. Guests over the age of 18 are welcome to make use of the adults only Cloisters Spa and Health Club which includes a 16-yard swimming pool spa bath modern gymnasium sauna steam room aromatherapy and salt rooms. Holistic treatments are also available. You can also enjoy a round of golf at Swallow Hall Golf Club a 9-minute drive from from The Parsonage Hotel & Spa.

Great hotel!

Very enjoyable, great location, great...

Liked: Helpful and friendly staff, especially ladies on front desk who also served breakfast

Comfortable short stay near York...

Liked: Good location just outside of York (bus stop 3 minute walk, bus ride 15 minutes). Room was a good size. Pubs and Thai restaurant close by. Breakfast was very good. Staff were excellent. Spa pool and steam rooms (4) very good.
Disliked: Creaky floorboards in Coach house. Attached pub (The Fat Abbot), was lacking in atmosphere.
