Disliked: Bathroom very small with no where to put toiletries

Liked: I found the bed and accessories ( pillow, cover) comfy.
Disliked: The taps in the shower despite been well looking and maintained were difficult to turn ( design issue)

Liked: The hotel is in a good spot - just a short walk to Warrington town centre.The room was nice, light and airy, bed comfy and bathroom and shower very good.Easy access to hotel at night if you came back late.I had a complaint and next day before departure Manager was very reassuring that they will fix in future and seemed very pleasant and professional.
Disliked: Didn't particularly understand the breakfast arrangement -ie order the night before etc ???More like a cheap B&B than hotel if that's what they are expecting customers to do.They never made up my room so when I returned in the evening - no fresh towels for shower etc and no refreshed coffee supplies etc etc. When I mentioned this next day - hotel staff resorted to the tried and trusted routing of blaming the customer !! Tried to say I never put the "make up room sign" up, which I did for sure and I double checked once I saw my room was not made up. Why hotel staff always resort to this methodology of pushing all blame onto customer is beyond my comprehension. No elevator - so you have to hump heavy bags up and down the stairs - maybe a first world problem but if you have several heavy bags it is inconvenient.
