The Parkmore Hotel

Great location, good value but...

Liked: The room was pretty clean, the location was great, getting there was easy, it was really cheap, the staff were really helpful and friendly!
Disliked: The amenities weren't great, my room didn't even have soap so I was just using the shampoo, there also wasn't any fresh water in the room just an empty fridge which was quite disappointing. The bed was really uncomfortable too, I only managed to get an hours sleep and I woke up sore. Just expect the bare minimum for a hotel room if you decide on staying here.

Disliked: We had blood on our towels an wired stains on the sheets beds were a bit to hard for my liking an shower was nothing like the pics an we’re definitely worn out

Liked: Location is great. And they have a pool as I a year round swimmer.
Disliked: They are in the middle of renovations. My room certainly needs renovations. Only one light switch for 6 bright lights near the door, none near the beds. Shower door missing. No room around one side of the queen bed with new shelving there but not really in place yet. There is potential. Last time I stayed in a room that was almost complete that was much nicer.

A great stay!

Liked: It was easy to get to by car, but travellers who drive need to remember if they are coming from Sydney or Bendigo side that there are no right turns on Royal Parade. It was a very minor issue. The space was very comfortable and the staff at both reception and the restaurant were wonderful.
Disliked: The shower water pressure was low. But. The hotel is going through refurbishment, so im sure that will resolve itself in the future. The fridge in the room was too small for my needs. Again, it's a minor concern.

Liked: Nice location. Clean and comfortable rooms.
Disliked: It's obviously a while away from being the finished article.
