Excellent hotel and staff

Liked: Superb rooms with coffee pod machines, tweed fabrics and Arran toiletries. The staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. There’s a lovely on site bakery and barrier in parking.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Liked breakfast, liked the cleanliness of the room, liked the friendly staff, liked the car park, liked the location
Disliked: The fact that we were initially overcharged when settling the final account. The receipt was a scrap of paper devoid of any detail. When I requested a breakdown of the bill, the very polite receptionist said that the computer said we were owed £22 +. She gave us a detailed breakdown of the account. Although this could be a genuine mistake and involved a small sum, we were disappointed. Having not visited the Park for many years we realise the Hotel caters for a different clientel. Also, my own fault and being elderly, I failed to request a room on the first floor instead of the second floor.

Problem free stay

Liked: The hotel is very easy to find and is located a brief walk from the centre of Peebles. Parking is ample, and there is a charging point for electric vehicles which allowed me to leave with a full battery. The hotel is very welcoming, clean and comfortable.
Disliked: There wasn't anything that I didn't like about my stay.
